Sustainability
Sustainability plays a key role at the Lorzensaal. Our aim is to organise events in a responsible and resource-efficient manner, ensuring they are accessible to everyone. Together with strong partners, we are committed to sustainable solutions, from the mindful use of resources to ensuring a barrier-free cultural experience.
OK:GO (Culture for all
As part of the OK:GO initiatives, the Lorzensaal is actively committed to improving accessibility in the cultural sector. Our aim is to make cultural events accessible and enjoyable for as many people as possible. With step-free access, specially designated wheelchair spaces and an induction loop system in the stalls of the Lorzensaal, we are creating the essential conditions for a visit that is as accessible as possible.
Water for Water (WfW)
The Lorzensaal works in partnership with the non-profit organisation Water for Water(WfW). The organisation campaigns worldwide for the responsible use of water and for access to clean drinking water. For seminars and meetings in the Seesaal, Rigisaal and our Stüblis, we follow WfW’s sustainable water concept, thereby promoting a more conscious approach to the resource of water.
Swisstainable (Sustainability in Swiss Tourism)
The Lorzensaal is part of the Swisstainable sustainability programme. This programme, run by Swiss Tourism, supports businesses and organisations in systematically advancing their sustainable development and raising awareness of their efforts. By participating, the Lorzensaal adheres to the Swisstainable criteria and continuously refines its sustainability measures.
